The area in the centre of the house was wasted and unused.

The window was opened into a door through to the extension and the kitchen was brought into the centre of the house

The original living room became the dining area

Original kitchen became living room

Dropping the ceiling level on the floor below created more headroom in the loft extension. Skylights were positioned and designed to increase headroom either side of the bed.
